Interest groups are the backbone of the u3a and we are all grateful to our current group leaders for their time and commitment.
To join a group you need to be a member of Falkirk & District u3a. You can join at one of the monthly Open Meetings or fill in a form on our Membership page. Even if you are not a member you can still come to a couple of meetings to find out about us.

Start a Group
We have a wealth of talent and skills among our members in Falkirk, and if you would like to lead or host a group please contact the acting Groups co-ordinator (
You do not need to be an expert in a topic to set up a group; often an interest in a subject is enough. There is plenty of help available and there is access to a range of resources to help both leaders and members pursue an interest or area of study. Bear in mind that you don't need to run a group for ever! It is possible to offer a course or group for a fixed number of sessions.
