Join A Group

Interest groups are the backbone of the u3a and we are all grateful to our current group leaders for their time and commitment.

To join a group you need to be a member of Falkirk & District u3a. You can join at one of the monthly Open Meetings or fill in a form on our Membership page.  Even if you are not a member you can still come to a couple of meetings to find out about us.

To find out more about an interest group CLICK on the name of the group and contact the relevant Group Leader for further information.

If Waiting List is shown this means the group is full. If you would like to be added to that waiting list contact the acting Group Coordinator, Dorothy Ferrie (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Start a Group

We have a wealth of talent and skills among our members in Falkirk, and if you would like to lead or host a group please contact the acting Groups co-ordinator (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for information.

You do not need to be an expert in a topic to set up a group; often an interest in a subject is enough. There is plenty of help available and there is access to a range of resources to help both leaders and members pursue an interest or area of study. Bear in mind that you don't need to run a group for ever! It is possible to offer a course or group for a fixed number of sessions.
